That reminds me of an old Everquest scam - one guy selling for too much, another offering way more, if you buy the item to try to flip it for instant profit both parties suddenly vanish

Hadn’t thought of that. Though I’m not sure how that would work when someone can just go to IKEA and pay less to start with.
